BUILD TO ORDER — designed, not yet deployed

Auditable candidate triage workflow for Singapore employers

This build-to-order design structures application evidence against criteria written by the employer. It is not deployed today, and a person decides every shortlist, interview and rejection rather than delegating employment judgment to a model.

How the recruitment screening pipeline moves work safely

Automated stages prepare the work and preserve its context. The visually distinct human gate owns the sensitive decision before anything is released.

From application intake to human-owned shortlist
  1. 1Automated

    Receive application

Capture the submitted documents and the approved criteria for the role.

  2. 2Automated

    Structure evidence

Map applicant-provided evidence to each written criterion without inventing gaps.

  3. 3Automated

    Prepare triage

Produce a reviewable summary, reason and near-match flag.

  4. 4Human gate

    Decide

A recruiter reviews the evidence and owns every progression or rejection.

  5. 5Automated

    Coordinate next step

Schedule only the interviews explicitly approved by the recruiter.

Automated stages prepare the work and its evidence. The human gate controls sensitive decisions and release.

Inputs, decisions, writes and approval

Inputs

Candidate-submitted materials, job criteria, permitted assessment fields, recruiter instructions and scheduling availability.

Agent decisions

The automated stage organises evidence and flags uncertainty; it does not make the final employment decision.

Writes

An evidence map, triage explanation, reviewer state and approved interview-coordination task.

Human approval gate

A recruiter or hiring manager owns the shortlist, interview, rejection and any override. The reasoning remains reviewable.

Systems this pipeline would touch

Application intake
Receives the materials candidates chose to submit for the role.
Criteria register
Stores the written, approved assessment criteria used for evidence mapping.
Applicant tracking system
Can receive review states after the chosen platform is assessed and tested.
Interview calendar
Coordinates only recruiter-approved next steps.

What this pipeline does not do

The boundary is part of the product. These exception paths are intentional, not missing automation.

  • It is a build-to-order design, not a live hiring system or client result.
  • It does not make autonomous interview, hiring or rejection decisions.
  • It does not infer protected or sensitive characteristics from application content.
  • It does not hide the evidence and reason behind a triage suggestion.
