Singapore SMEs · Fixed-scope automation

AI automation with up to 50% EDG co-funding for local SMEs.

VYR scopes the project and prepares the Business Grants Portal documentation at no charge. A three-week target applies only to a ready, focused first workflow; plan 3–6 months end to end including the application. Typically S$15,000 and up — smaller and faster, take the Fast Track instead.

Process

How it works

1

Book a call (30 min, week 1)

We map your workflow and confirm EDG eligibility on the call. No obligation — just a clear picture of what can be automated and whether you qualify.

2

We prepare the project proposal (week 1–2)

BGP-ready, no jargon. We draft the scope, costs, and documentation needed for your EDG application — included at no extra cost. You submit through the Business Grants Portal.

3

EDG assessed by Enterprise Singapore

Enterprise Singapore reviews and issues the letter of offer. You receive up to 50% back as reimbursement after project completion. We guide you through every step of the EDG application process.

4

Automation live in about 3 weeks for a ready, focused workflow

Once the project starts, your first workflow goes live in 3 weeks. The grant is processed in parallel — you start seeing returns before the paperwork is settled.

Grant or no grant?

Often the grant is not the right route, and we would rather say so here than three weeks into a conversation.

The S$15,000 line is our own guidance, not a grant rule. Enterprise Singapore sets no minimum project size and no per-project maximum for EDG. Below roughly S$15,000 the application effort usually costs more than the co-funding returns.

Common questions

Is my project big enough for EDG?
Enterprise Singapore sets no minimum project size and no per-project maximum. Our own guidance is that EDG starts making sense from around S$15,000, because below that the Business Grants Portal application effort tends to cost more than the co-funding returns. Smaller and faster? Take the Fast Track instead.
How much does EDG actually cover?
Up to 50% of eligible costs for local SMEs. The 70% figure that circulates applies to sustainability projects under a different programme, not to general AI automation. Enterprise Singapore assesses eligible costs per project.
How long does the Grant Track take?
Plan for three to six months end to end, including the application, assessment and the build itself. If you need something running this month, that is the Fast Track, not this one.
What is EDGE and does it affect me?
Enterprise Singapore is consolidating EDG, MRA and the Productivity Solutions Grant into a single EDGE scheme launching in the second half of 2026. EnterpriseSG states that the existing grants remain accessible until EDGE launches. If you are considering an application, that timing is worth a conversation now.
Do I pay first and claim later?
Yes. EDG is a reimbursement scheme - you fund the project and claim the co-funding back against approved costs. Budget for the full amount up front.
What are the downsides of the grant route?
Time, paperwork and rigidity. The scope is locked to what was approved, so mid-project changes are harder. If speed or flexibility matters more than the co-funding, the Fast Track is the better fit and we will say so.

Check if your project fits

Tell us the workflow. We come back with a scope, an honest view on whether it is big enough for EDG to be worth the paperwork, and what the application would involve.

  • · We prepare the Business Grants Portal documentation at no charge
  • · You submit it yourself through Corppass — no third party can apply for you
  • · Enterprise Singapore makes the decision, not us
  • · If it is under about S$15,000 we will tell you to take the Fast Track instead
